Youth Apprenticeship Program (YAP)

The Youth Apprenticeship Program aims to provide hands-on training and real-world experience to young individuals interested in the tourism and creative industries. YAP focuses on knowledge transfer, mentorship, and coaching by experts in film and tourism. Apprentices aged 18-35 are given the opportunity to work on high-impact projects in tourism, agriculture, media, film, and other creative industries. By the end of the program, young and creative minds are equipped with the skills and experience necessary for success and career development.

YAP Objectives

Equip young people with practical skills in creativity (art, design, film, music, dance, theatre, radio & television productions), tourism, and event management

Promote sustainable tourism practices that showcase the cultural and natural assets of Tanzania

Foster a new generation of creative professionals who can contribute to the local economy and cultural preservation

Create a structured pathway for youth to secure employment or start their own ventures in the creative and tourism sectors

A call for applications will be announced when training, mentorship, and coaching sessions are available. To apply, prepare a motivation letter with contacts for two references (maximum 500 words) and a Resume/CV (maximum 2 pages).
